Accounts and Credit Controller

Reporting to: Office Manager
Contract: Full Time

The role:
We’re currently recruiting for an Accounts and Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of busy, growing and vibrant team here in Birchwood.
The Accounts and Credit Controller will be responsible for the day to day running of the Accounts Department, which currently has one Accounts Assistant. Tasks will evolve around key weekly responsibilities outlined below as well as the chasing and management of outstanding debt and ensuring payment of outstanding invoices.
Reporting to the Office Manager and Finance Director you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our accounts department and processes.

The person:
You will have a track record of managing a small team and accounts division.

You will bring fresh ideas to the division, understand the existing drivers in our business and recognise the unique culture that we have developed.

You will be the sort of person who is highly self-motivated, with a strong can do attitude and who will thrive in a diverse workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure you adhere to our core values
• Chasing of debts via email and outbound telephone calls
• Dealing with and resolving invoice enquiries from customers
• Reconciling key accounts and communicating to the customers
• Processing late payment fees and interest
• Maintaining group and divisional sales reports
• Manage and reconcile the bank statements and payments for bank accounts
• SAGE Line 50 Management Accounts Preparation
• Finance Management including submissions, month end rec and any transfers
• Sales orders, service calls, monthly direct debit collection runs
• Monthly Billing
• Uploading of invoices onto SAGE and cross checking all data sets
• Processing credit notes and maintenance of in house credit note analysis
• Applying continuous improvement to all tasks and roles
• Feedback any developments or system enhancements to our Project Manager
Relevant Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a finance role
• Must be highly proficient in Excel
• Conversant on SAGE 50

Operations Manager

Reporting to: Managing Director
Location: North West
Salary: Commensurate with experience + Benefits.
Holidays: 22 days per annum + bank holidays

 

The role:
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take our company to the next level. Our success relies on having the best, most robust and efficient systems and processes available. In order to achieve this, they need constant monitoring and honing as our business evolves and newer and different technologies are available.

We’re based in the North West – Warrington. Our employee base is growing quickly which is why we need to constantly monitor, improve and develop our systems and processes to stay ahead.

Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of every part of our operational base.

The person:
You will have a track record of managing the operations for any size of organisation that has a diverse mix of technology and people. You will be driven to monitor, assess, improve and rationalise processes for the benefit of our clients and LegalforLandlords. You will be able to motivate the management team to consistently over achieve and over deliver.

You will bring fresh ideas to our company but also understand the existing drivers in our business and recognise the unique culture that we have developed. Your style of management will complement and enhance this experience.

You’ll be the sort of person who thrives in a fast-paced working environment and have previously operated at a senior level. Experience of creating sales and marketing strategy would be an enormous benefit.

Referencing Specialist

LegalforLandlords are a fast growing business within the private rented sector. We are looking to enhance our Referencing team in Birchwood, Warrington this meaning we are seeking hard working, confident people, with a proven track record in Customer Service to work with Letting Agents, Landlords and Tenants across the UK.
You will be working in close contact with our clients therefore accuracy and attention to detail is essential as you will be handling our client’s application from the very start to completion. This will consist of contacting their nominated referees over the phone and via email whilst keeping our In house system up to date, once you have gathered all the required information you will then be in a position to make the correct decision by producing end reports.

The role offers a fantastic starting salary; you will need to have a warm, outgoing and confident personality along with previous experience in a high volume Customer Service environment. You posses outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and have the will to meet the customer’s satisfactions.

Salary £16,250.00 – £17,000.00 per year dependent on experience plus commission, shifts are Monday – Friday with various start times available of 8am, 9am and 10:30am.

Legal Administrator case Packager

LegalforLandlords are a fast growing business within the private rented sector. We are looking to enhance our Legal team in Birchwood Warrington this meaning we are seeking hard working, confident people, with strong Administration skills.
Applications from experienced Property Paralegals would be advantageous. The role supporting our advisors and case handlers with their varied caseloads, it is essential that the right person can hit the ground running.

A typical day you will be chasing and collating documents this verbally and via email.

You will need to be:
• Well organised with the ability to work to strict deadlines whilst working under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Collating all information from landlords and agents to ensure that the legal team can serve legal notices.
• Issue of pre court action letters for tenants that are in rental arrears.
• Administration duties and answering the telephone for general enquiries.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Supporting colleagues
• Excellent time management skills, methodical an accurate approach with a commitment to service excellence.

Full training will be provided.

Salary £17,000.00 per year, shifts are Monday – Friday with various shift patterns available start times of 8am, 9am and 10:30am.
